Who knew Lake Havasu City was so gorgeous?! We found a spot at the State Park on the lake. Vising with family; Glen and Susie Wilson was pretty kewl. Being a car guy, I was blown away at Glens garage and the cleanliness of his vehicles. I've never seen anything close to that perfect!
A short drive south found us spending a few days at the Palms RV Resort; we were the only rig in the full hookup campground. The pool at the palms was the highlight. Surviving 15 degree weather was tough going with only one working AC. With Reflectix in all the windows and the AC on all day and most of the night we stayed a balmy 88 degrees inside.
Three hours after leaving The Palms, we were in Mission Bay RV Resort. Here we were able to hang with Dave Buddy (Dave and Robin Forsyth), Jan's brothers Rob and Rich, though sadly missed Nancy. Nancy was out of town living it up on a "girls trip".
